Looking cute

K and P left this morning, they live in Cumbria which means a reasonable drive, they are not in a hurry. P doesn’t keep well, fibromyalgia, time here gives her a week off from everything, a horrid illness. K had a good week and as always we appreciate his helping hands and the two men didn’t stop talking. The chat is always good with him, diverse, controversial at times and always interesting. Although he is now a grandad and the softer, emotional side has appeared, grandma and granddad chat on FaceTime most evenings to their beautiful 20 month old granddaughter. She loves to hear him play the mouth organ and for grandma to sing, she has a lovely voice.

It all feels very quiet this afternoon. Not that Mackie minds, he is lounging on the settee showing off his spotted tum.
