I had a morning walk to East Street, dropped off another charity shop bag, bought a few supplies.

In the evening we headed up the hill to Bill and Maddy’s, for a takeaway and drink… and to meet Beano!! This week of knowing he was just up the road and waiting to meet him has felt very long. He’s an absolute babe, Matt and I were totally and instantly smitten.

We had a few drinks in the garden and Bill showed us the tricks he’s taught him already (very impressive), then retreated inside for a Chinese and more games. He particularly enjoyed the games of chewing my shoelaces and getting stuck under the sofa.
