Cherry Pink and Apple Blossom White
Perez Prado 1955
I was NOT going to blossomblip because there are a number of blossomblips loaded already, far more pretty to look at than this BUT...
1)I spotted this tree on my first deliberate blip detour where I took a new route home from physio just to see what there was to see. It's in a less than salubrious part of town and so
2) made me think of a new song for the stock, namely "I May Never Pass This Way Again" that I can keep for another day and
3) the pink and the white are ON THE SAME TREE, perhaps this is not uncommon, my horticultural knowledge extends not much further than being able to plant bulbs and snip the runners off sweet peas, but as a blipper I now notice such things
4)I had to be a proper 'tographer and play with the settings to get something suitable for the cloudy day to allow the colours to be seen properly and finally
5)I had a marvellous time minding my own business, holding tight to the camera and checking the quickest route back to the car while a local leaned out of a window above to shout down to a passing chum that "Jimmy has told the polis he wisnae there so I've goat the whole whack on me an I'm up the morra". Sharp exit.
Moral - Blip's not all about the finished product, which I know is a bit blah but I after all of that I love it! Happy day.
