Your holiday awaits . . . come and stay in an old railway coach. In North Yorkshire there are examples of coaches to stay in at Whitby, Ebberston and York.
Camping Coaches have been popular for holidays in the UK since 1930. Always attached to local stations, LNER had at least 19 in this area. Today they remain as popular as ever. Image here and extra show the coach at Levisham Station. There are also two at Goathland. This year a brand new coach was re-installed at the site of the old station in Sandsend. Grab you bucket and spade . . . and away we go.
