Kids in action

Ran into my landlords today afternoon and they kindly invited me to their son's ice hockey practice. Was a lot of fun and I took the opportunity to experiment and try to capture some 'action' shots. 

This is where I love having an android phone and the level of manual controls the camera allows. Wasn't easy at all though and I captured a lot of terrible shots. But managed to get a handful of shots I'm pretty happy with. Well, isn't that what photography is all about? ;)
