Mangrove snail?

Just joking folks. I found this washed up on Seven Mile Beach today. It may look like a snail, but it's just a seed of the Grey Mangrove, Avicennia marina. What looks like a snail's neck, head and 'horns' is actually a root emerging from the germinating seed.
