Elegance

There is always something elegant about the way a swan glides effortlessly across the water. I find it quite captivating.
We had a great exploratory bike ride today, stumbling across a number of gems, like parks and reserves and cycle tracks we never knew existed. I thought I knew Christchurch pretty well but I never knew there was a spa resort in a local suburb with it's own artesian water-well (they sell the water to the public), and this little backwater where we found this swan. A fun afternoon on another warming spring day.
