DB ferries

I was quite chuffed to see the ferries lined up like this. Took the shot and didn't regret it. The ferries are one of the means of getting off Lantau island to head into the city (well Central)! Very comfortable, ALWAYS on time, not too choppy on the seas except for T3, T5s!!

Martin and the boys use these everyday to work and school, we really should live in town but we love DB and the lower pollution levels here. We miss out on driving, but it really is better for us to walk. DB is not 'big' as such, population around 20,000, so quite village-ish. Extremely strong community feel, which we love. We've moved around so much and feel that there really is nowhere like Discovery Bay.

Wow, I had no idea that I was going to write about DB that much. April 5th, we get our permanent residency! That'll be a first for me .. To actually belong somewhere. Hmmm ... Might have to have a mini celebration. Hope you'll are all having a great weekend.
