Lunch with Niamh

Her school day finishes at half-past one on a Friday - what's that all about?

Anyway, one egg mayo and one hummus sandwich, both on fresh and chunky brown bread with tea for two. We shared a (giant) piece of chocolate and marmalade cake ("Like a giant jaffa cake but much much better") and all for a tenner at the wonderful Velocity Cafe. After that a walk in the coldest cold to the car was a dawdle.

In other news - back blipping here - no phone or broadband for 24 hours, just walked passed the hub and noticed the light was back on - yay! Promise to catch up on all those journals later. Meantime I need to try and come up with a blip on what is a particularly gloomy day. Oh - no snow here btw.
