Relief
Seldom have I been so relieved to find a 2cm piece of metal in one of our cellars.
As part of the kitchen replacement, the door of our fridge needed changing and I was pleased enough to find our instructuion manual. It all looked pretty simple and so the door was removed and after various other changes, a similar piece to the above was removed and - surprise surprise - did not fit in the other orientation. No mention of such things in the instructions of course.
When one buys a fridge, the little bits and peices accompanying it tend to get a little scattered around. The internet seemed the best option but of course the only site I could find only sold the right (or wrong in fact from my point of view) orientation lug, which I already had. The door therefore had to be put back on the fridge whilst a solution was found. Can't let the beer get warm.
A search was called for in the cellars and I was a little surprised, not to say relieved, to find the piece above after half an hour. The door was removed again and this time hung the other way.
A classic two step forwards after one back.
