Reindeer Day

We always love our time with the Cairngorm Reindeer.  They are Britains only free ranging herd of reindeer.  They are originally from Sweden, but conditions in this part of Scotland are not that different from their native land.  Most of the females were out on the mountain tops with their young ones.  The males stay closer to home.  At the moment they are just losing the velvet off their antlers, hence the reddish look in some of the photos.
