Backblip: Another Day, another Plan d'Eau

Having moved on from Villefranche we had time to fill in, so took ourselves off to a free Municipal aire in a sleepy little village. A lovely stop, adjacent to a rather lovely Plan d'Eau, somewhat smaller than the previous one. This one was distinctive in having been planted with some lovely aquatic specimens. According to a notice we read, there are Sturgeon in here!

We will return one day, preferably when the sole restaurant is open.

Note: when told where we were going, I was childishly thrilled. Disappointed on arrival to find that the spelling of Illiat was not Illya, Yes, I had quite a thing for David Mccallum back in the day....
