Rainy day

It was dry in the morning, though the forecast was for heavy rain later so we went out for a short walk while it was still dry. We walked along the road to Knockan, down to the shore and then up to the main road. I always like the view from the old road at this point, with Knockan's red roof so obvious (see extra).

The promised rain arrived and we spent the rest of the day reading and watching TV. Altogether a very relaxing way to spend the afternoon. In a break in the rain in the evening, the cloud began lift from Burg opposite us and the effect was spectacular, the cloud streaming like smoke. What a spectacular place to be, even on a rainy day.
