Must be Autumn/Fall

Not much in the way of photography today so here's a little collage.
Took Jonty for an early walk, 07:30. Sun was very hazy behind the thin cloud but later it brightened up into a very sunny day, quite warm too. We're still at in the garden, two more trips to the tip.
The fir cones is what made me think of the Autumn title. When I was younger I used to wonder why America changed some of our terminology and call Autumn 'Fall'. I later, mostly due to travel and reading historic trivia, that it was us that changed it. We called it Fall until we had the influence of the French invasion of Britain!
Maybe, now that we are once more an independent country, we should change it back again?
