Meet up at the Kymin.
One of the reasons for choosing the Forest of Dean as a campsite was its closeness to Monmouth where Sue’s brother and sister live. We decided to meet up at The Kymin a vantage point overlooking the valley where Monmouth is situated. The Kymin is or was run by the National Trust. A memorial to 16 Famous Admirals prior to 1800 is at the site.

Sue’s brother, Ian and his wife brought along a feast of pork pie with cranberry topping, Cornish blue cheese and Scotch egg. We sat and talked and eat for a couple of hours.Good time, extremely good company.
