Cheltenham Half Marathon

Our son in law was running in this event today. We took him and his family supporters to the start. We went back to see him finish in a very respectable time!
The event was very well organised and began and finished at Cheltenham’s iconic home of national hunt racing aka Prestbury Park.

Luckily the warm weather we enjoyed here arrived as the runners completed the course.

Back in March 2020 Cheltenham was one of the last mass gatherings to take place before the first lockdown. This year’s event was held behind closed doors.

Today’s event while busy, was fully Covid compliant, and it was good to see another step towards the new normality.
