Long and winding road

So much for the forecasters saying there wouldn't be snow today. Woke up to a sky full of flakes and the road disappearing under the blanket of snow. Despite this the planned walk still went ahead and 8 of us had a brisk 5 miles across the snow covered landscape followed by an excellent lunch at the Carpenters Arms . Was amazing how many people who hadn't been able to make it out to the start of the walk managed to arrive in time for lunch! :-)
