Rescue attempt

I nearly stood on this wee bird. I put it in my cap and carried to a hedge where it sat. It was gone when I returned  to look for it. Whether that was gone inside a cat, I can't tell. At least it had a better chance than on the grass.
A longish walk and obviously  not off a short pier. Still here back blipping.
