Saturday Silhouette...

This morning we had not quite rain, and not quite snow.

I looked it up on the portmanteau meteological website, and apparently the technical term for it is swizzle. Who would have thought???

Later a poppadum hunt in Aldi was enlivened by a mother using that voice which cuts through children's whining, she was saying:

'no Matthew, you cannot have your party today, your birthday is not until July'

Life is so unfair when you are 5 years old.
