Shells and Stones

Another freezing cold, windy day and i have a stinking cold so i didn't feel any inclination whatsoever to go out and take photos - apart from nipping outside the front door and snapping the collection of shells and stones that i have out there, on the doorstep.

I don't know why but i can never resist the temptation of filling my pockets with shells, stones, bits of driftwood and old fishing floats whenever i walk along the beach, i just love the colours and the textures.

Spent some time messing about, "tiddling" with the image which SOOC looked pretty plain and boring. Maybe it's the frustrated artist in me but I love to tiddle and apart from taking the image in the first place am always more than happy doing post-production work.
