A dahlia starting...

... to open.

With a little drizzling rain this morning, I headed for Valley Gardens to photograph some dahlias enhanced with some rain drops on them ( as in my extra).

However, I actually preferred this shot with only a few droplets. The overcast but bright sky really helped too.
