Dolce Riviera

We took the train to the lakeside town of Vevey. The morning light was stunning, especially when we turned round and had our backs to the sun.

These lovely deckchairs and parasols are installed on a decking along the lake.

There was a big sign up saying:
DOLCE RIVIERA
Le lac n'est pas une poubelle
(the lake is not a dustbin/trash-can)
One cigarette butt pollutes up to 500 litres of water
Plastic takes 10.000 years to decompose in water.

It's important to know and respect these things.

Gorgeous temperatures 24-25C and clear blue skies. Not bad at all for the beginning of September!
