Basking

......... in the lovely, long awaited sunshine ;-)

I went to visit my mum today, I haven’t seen her properly for ages as my brother usually sorts out anything that requires a visit. I have been very wary of visiting her because she has different care workers in and out of the house every day and I still haven’t finally decided whether to have a second jab yet as I’m still struggling with the after effects of the first one ( I may go later this week if I’ve got the energy).
Thanks to the lovely weather we were able to sit in the garden so I didn’t feel quite so anxious and mum didn’t want the visit to be too long because she’s not used to having visitors, so I only stayed just over an hour but with driving an hour to get there and an hour back it felt like a long day for me and I was worn out, hence the backblip.

The tension was made worse as I had a major problem with my car just as I was about to set off from home ....... it was making some horrible noises as it moved :-( ....... fortunately I was able to take hubby’s car so the visit could go ahead but I’ve yet to find out what the problem is with mine :-(((
