Mono Monday!

Too nice a day to think about mono after all the "mono" days we have been having throughout August.  Beautiful day - warm, sunny, light breeze.  
I actually paid for parking so that I could walk Ginny along Thorpe Bay seafront where the pavement is set back from the traffic.  Ginny took her first dip in the sea.  It was quiet with no people on one particular stretch (dogs not allowed from May to end of Sept.)  and the tide was gently lapping in so she went in for a paddle and when I threw a pebble she bounded in with no hesitation - not sure if her little legs left the ground and she became buoyant but she did not seem afraid and I think she'll be a swimmer.  Will take a stick or a ball another time.  None of my previous dogs were water-lovers.
