By the canal

This evening we walked another stretch of the canal from Claydon, just a bit further along than Cropredy. We took Arnold back home but took him for a walk with Charlie and Pierce along by the canal first. It was a nice stretch of the canal, very much in the heart of the countryside. We saw a heron standing so still until finally he took off and flew down the canal. We also saw some yellow wagtails and a green woodpecker. The dogs had a great time. B and I then had an Indian takeaway. Now all’s quiet and time for a snooze. In extras, see the heron.
