The last day of our short break to Northumberland and visits to new places.

This morning we visited the impressive Warkworth Castle (see extra) and also the nearby Hermitage which can only be reached via a rowing boat ferry (operated by English Heritage).

We had lunch at under blue skies at Newbiggin-by-the- Sea.
