Wedding Party

Arriving at the Dunkeld Hilton in the snow just as wedding guests were making their way over to the marquee from the hotel for the banquet, I felt heart sorry for them. The odd snowflake was still fluttering down and the wind was icy. Weather in late March in Scotland is never going to be very warm but to have such extreme elements to face is really bad luck. However I'm sure they'll have a wedding to remember and the hotel will do them proud. They'll soon warm up when the Scottish country dancing begins (a ceilidh) - "Campbeltown Loch I wish you were whisky, Campbeltown Loch, Och aye!" - Have a listen to the Andy Stewart classic as you browse Blipfoto.

Note the chef in his white hat sprinting towards the marquee. I wonder if he had been sent back to the kitchen for something or he had missed his bus!
