One Bird

... on one stone of the many that make up one of the most iconic stone circle in the world at Stonehenge.  This is the Heel Stone, which marks the place on the horizon where the summer solstice sunrise appears when viewed from the centre of the stone circle.


My Facebook feed also told me that one year ago today was my first day of retirement ... goodness knows where this year has gone, but I don't miss work!
