Cup and Saucer

Cobaea Scandens, the cup and saucer vine, is a vigorous climber. My next door neighbour, who is very green fingered, grew some of these plants from seed in the spring. She gave me one which I managed to kill then this one to replace it. It had grown yards and yards in length and is producing these unusual flowers. I think it's a perennial and I hope I can keep it safe for next year.

Lovely time with friends last night. Tonight a Community Council planning meeting in the garden, under the cup and saucer vine, so limited blip time again.
