Snowed in !

Day 2 of our weekend in Ashbourne and the snow has fallen for more or less twenty-four hours, the wind has blown and the drifts are in places several feet deep. The men cleared the entrance to the drive this morning out onto the A515 Sudbury to Ashbourne road. The snow ploughs had been out but there was still a Range Rover in the ditch 100 yards further down the road. This evening our friends elder son has arrived home in his land rover so hopefully in the morning they can dig our car out and tow it to the road so we can return home to Devon !
