Full day gardening for Richard today, hot, hot, hot.

Very mild and misty to start but boy did it warm up later. It was very sweaty Betty. Managed to mow the lawns and give all the plants and borders a damn good soaking. Met Mick the mobile, who came to fix the little mower. Met Steve the driver who came to collect the Stiga machine which is poorly and needs to go to lawn mower A & E... We await updates and hope it is not too serious. I don't care really. I am not paying the bills. But golly, I really don't want to mow an acre of grass with a 20 inch mower. Mind you, I'll get my daily steps in, and then some.

Paid my Building Notice fees to the  council today £720 (that's right, £720!!!!!) It's only a 3m x 3m space, WTH..... Talk about daylight robbery. Based on my hours today it will take  10 days to earn that much. Bother, I thought I had retired........but at least I don't pay National Insurance anymore, Boris. Yah Boo Sucks....
