Sailing away

Another very grey and drizzly start to the day and I resigned myself to staying indoors to get on with 'office work', rather than do what I've done for the past couple of Tuesdays and taken a ride with Mrs M to Dunollie, to enjoy the walk back.

By noon however the drizzle had stopped, so after lunch we set off and I got out on the Dunollie drive and set off home via the sea front.  It was obviously the same time as last week as the 'Coruisk' came round the corner again just as I got down to the end of the drive!

As always there was plenty to see and photograph and I tried to get a good picture of a gull which had just caught a crab. There wasn't a lot of light, but I got one or two reasonable ones so have put one on as an extra.

Further along the esplanade I stopped to watch a yacht motoring out of the harbour, and when I looked up later she had hoisted her brown sail and was probably three-quarters of a mile away, so it was a full telephoto shot which I then cropped quite a bit. It turned out to be reasonably sharp in the circumstances so is my Blip today.
