Gulls Gathering

I thought it was a worrying sign seeing so many gulls in a field and on the river. We are about 15 miles from the coast and usually seeing gulls inland means it is rough out at sea. Later we spotted some flying ants gathering and that is more likely to be the reason they were here.

It has been very hot today but I'm making the most of it. I'm sure it will soon revert to being dull and damp.
