So hot

..in the car, kept putting air con on and then too cold so off it went. Called in to see brother who is recovering well after his operation. Arrived at the cottage, unpacked car and went out for a walk, however it was 27 degrees so far too hot to walk Hetty very far so we took the river path to keep in the shade.
It’s been interesting watching developments on land over the wall from the path, over the last couple of months lots of digging and last time we were here there was a large hole and what we thought were steps, turns out it’s a pond with a waterfall. Well it will be when it’s finished. Water not flowing yet.
Hubby cooked dinner while I ironed.
Painting and gardening planned for tomorrow as it will be a bit hot for Hetty to do a long walk.
