Trellech Church
Year 2 Day 168 of UK COVID-19 Pandemic. First UK Vaccine 272 days ago. UK open. Overseas travel with restrictions.
A really hot day with temperatures about 30C, granddaughter Amelia was happy enough relaxing on the sofa watching her programmes until we left to take her to pre-school.
The blipfoto is of St Nicholas Church (built 1310AD on site of an earlier church) at the time when the village was one of the biggest in Wales! It's a beautiful village about 20 minutes drive from home and one where we regularly do walks.
After the plasterer who's working on our extension left, I put a number of large insulation boards he'd not used in the loft above our bedroom. Not the nicest of jobs on a really hot day. I finished, showered and quenched my thirst with three pints of cold cider!
