Alistair Cooke's Typewriter

Another Late shift, another chance to wander around New BH. On one of the floors, in lucite cases, are objects that have played a part in broadcasting history. One contains the iconic BBC microphone Churchill spoke to the nation on during the war, another has a mug used by Evan Davies on the Today programme ( think that's a piss take) and then there is this. The typewriter on which the wonderful Alistair Cooke bashed out his Letters From America. I'm rather humbled to stand before it.
