Migrant Hawker
After yesterday’s adventure, today we stay closer to home. I am tired, but I’m feeling better than I feared!
We plan to visit Bodnant Gardens, but although we arrive before 11.00 am, the car parks are almost full and we decide against it. As RSPB Conwy is on our way home, it’s an obvious choice, and gorgeous in the September sunshine.
The dragonflies are out and about flitting round the pond once more. I’m really interested in catching them in flight, but when a Migrant Hawker lands on a head of feathery common reed, I can’t resist.
And as the tide is in, the river full, the view up the valley with sunshine and no wind is rather lovely - in extras.
Thanks to JDO for hosting Tiny Tuesday.
