First day back

Summer returned with a vengeance today. It topped 26.7c - the hottest September 6th on record. My class were wilting in the heat. But we all had a great first day back and a first day in year 6 for all of us.
When I got home, Storm was resting on the patio and Darwin was wandering around the garden. Storm got up, walked over to Darwin, put his paw on his back then lay down, curled around the tortoise! Darwin did manage to get out of his trapped state, despite, as my dad pointed out, not having reverse gear!
