“Ugly Walk”

This is the walk we went on today which Kevin called “Ugly”! I thought it was beautiful, with some friendly people picking blackberries in the distance and running alongside a railway line with lovely wild flowers growing in the hedgerows. Mind you, there were quite a few nettles reaching out to sting us. After my bout with Poison Ivy before I came, I kept my distance!
The weather has been perfect for walking in the countryside.

Seemed like a relaxed, slow moving day today but we got a lot done! We enjoyed a great full English breakfast cooked for us by Kevin; got our follow up Covid test done and sent off; met Ady, one of Kevin’s friends; had a deliciously spicy prawn dinner also cooked by Kevin, and ordered some stuff from Amazon for our Camper Van, so that they can arrive in time before we leave here on Friday.
Now to relax and head for bed!

Maybe tomorrow we’ll go to the beach for a change of scenery. This nice weather won’t last forever!
