Elderberries

Edit!...I changed my photo to show the process! Got six jars! It tastes great!

Making the juice from the elderberries I picked on Saturday. Hoping I can get about four jars of jelly from the juice. It has been a while since I made jelly.

I also came home with a big bag of mountain apples. They will be made into crockpot apple butter. The are the old type of apples, small and tart/sweet like Granny Smith. The neighbors tree fell over during the wind from Hurricane Fred so he said to help myself to the apples that were just hanging.
