I visited these wonderful Glory-in-the-Snow again this afternoon. They’re such an impacting splash of colour in the forest.

Our Covid-19 community cases numbers are down to 15 today. The Lockdowns are working. The first day of L2 for most of NZ has gone well.
I had a visitor this morning - usually an everyday event. Today? Oh so special!

One of NZ’s leading epidemiologists came out saying today that even if vaccinations were at 100%, that herd immunity isn’t possible, because the vaccinations themselves still aren’t well enough developed. Other measures are still vital, such as mask wearing, social distancing and keeping to the guidelines - that there’d still be substantial outbreaks. We just have to keep on keeping on!
