Happy Birthday, Dad!

I colorized this photograph of my dad taken in1939 when he was just 21.  He looks so young but then again he was young.  We most often thing of our parents as "old".  Well, they were always older than we were, weren't they.  So today I will image you at 21, Dad, before the world war that was then raging in Europe put you in uniform 5 years later.  A young man who was a smart dresser; a young man that loved his new car.  Happy Birthday in Heaven, Dad!
