We had a lovely journey today, through some of the best parts of France.

Bromont-Lamothe is a bit of a mixed bag. There's a quiet and sleepy part of town, some gorgeous buildings, a grand view of the volcanoes, and a really nasty bit that has a busy road run through it. We are getting the road noise where we are parked. No matter, we move on tomorrow and we hope to be on top of those volcanoes at some point.

Had an early rise this morning, with cock crow at 04:15 - three of 'em in competition, three feet from the van.
