Yellow

This amazing-looking moth has been on my wish list for a while. It's not uncommon, but last night was the first time I'd managed to capture one and it didn't disappoint. Unsurprisingly, it's called the Canary-shouldered Thorn. Thorns are a group I like. they hold their wings at an angle, giving them an unmistakeable look, and this one has the added attraction of a wonderful canary yellow "mane" and a little "beak".
