Drought

This is the view from the Eric Morecambe bird hide at RSPB Leighton Moss.
Normally this is covered with water right to the horizon and there are plenty of birds for 
Twitchers and Blippers alike.

Here in the north west corner of England we are one of the wettest areas of the country. But this Summer 
has been remarkably dry. London and the South East on the other hand seems to have had more than its 
fair share of storms and rain.

As I have no live birds to blip I have put some in the extra from the guide posters on the hide walls.
