Early morning cormorant

I was rewarded on my early walk by this cormorant drying his wings. It was really warm again this morning and lots of things quietly going on along the seafront: early swimmers, canoeists, walkers, runners and quite a few people just enjoying a chat and cuppa on the beach. 
Later we popped along to Rathfinny Wine Estate to buy a bottle of their gin to give as a present. What a lovely place. We will return to walk through the vines (permissive footpath) and to sample their restaurants.
This afternoon we were enjoying exploring on our bikes.... til I came a cropper!! Could have been worse but I'm rather bruised and grazed and a few steri strips. Going to be out of action for at least a few days..... grrr. Extra:bike ride collage.
