Picnic in the mist

It was a hard walk today, 11 km and 700 metres of ascent made uncomfortable by a combination of heat and humidity. I don’t think I had quite got my energy back after an evening of tennis yesterday. We set off in the mist and it only cleared in the afternoon. Nevertheless good company and the beautiful environment made it a pleasant experience.
