High tide wader spectacular at Snettisham

And what a spectacle it was! I left home at a ridiculously early hour and joined about another 80 or so bird watchers . It was drama following drama. The little wader in my extra was so tired and just slept and slept all on his own. Then he took his head out of his wing and looked around and eventually after about three quarters of an hour flew off. Relief all round. I guess he was just exhausted. and I have never see so many oyster catchers all together. There were thousands of them and they left the sand bar and rested in an adjacent lagoon making the bank look like Blackpool/m]Mablethorpe  beach on a busy day.
