Another image from Packwood House Gardens

Very hot today. Played Bowls this afternoon and the green was like an oven. Opponents were very good and we were well beaten and I managed to have my worst game of the season. Very disappointing outcome.

The Photo-society competition results were interesting. I received good comments but these were not reflected in the marks. The judge really loved mono and these images scored highly but at least one colour image managed to get full marks. Well deserved.  My only real  beef was the small range of marks between the lowest and highest scores - only 5 or 6.
