After school toast

What can be better than getting home from school, stripping off and jumping into the paddling pool with some toast on the side... they loved it. 

First evening of swimming this evening (so it was paddling pool, supper, swimming). They loved it, and did so well, I was super proud. It worked really well, I was worried that it would be out of routine for them, but they thought it was really good. It got better when they school a school friend and then our neighbour at the gym too. 

I had a tired day, tears about not being able to get some of the revision and totally disheartening.  Early(ish) night tonight and back on it tomorrow as fresh as I can.  The rest of the cohort seem to be as jaded as I feel! 

Today I'm grateful for: 
The youngest's teacher seeing him arrive at school and dashing out to greet him so that he didn't get upset in the morning 
The youngest leaving school thanking his teacher for such a great day without being asked to
Swimming working so well!
